From Mainz Main Station follow the directions for arriving by foot/bicycle or public transportation.

Walking from the main station takes about 25 minutes (uphill). Leave the main station westwards (not towards city center) and follow the Saarstraße (or the parallel walkway to the right) until Dr.-Martin-Luther-King-Weg and cross the bridge to the left to reach the university front entrance.
► by public transportation
From Mainz Main Station (Hauptbahnhof), take Tram or Bus. Leave the station westwards (not towards city center) and cross the car park to the main street to the tram/bus stop Hauptbahnhof West/Taubertsbergbad.
The following lines serve the university from the main station:
- 51 (towards Lerchenberg)
- 53 (towards Lerchenberg)
- 54 (towards Klein-Winternheim)
- 55 (towards Mainz-Lerchenberg)
- 56 (towards Wackernheim)
- 57 (towards Bretzenheim)
- 58 (towards Finthen)
- 59 (towards Hochschule Mainz)
- 68 (towards Budenheim)
- 75 (towards Arena)
- 79 (towards Ingelheim)
- 90 (towards Finthen)
- 91 (towards Wackernheim)
- 93 (towards Lerchenberg)
- 630 (towards Sprendlingen/Bad Kreuznach)
We recommend using the tram lines 51, 53, and 59, all of which stop directly at the main entrance to the campus.

For directions, see https://www.uni-mainz.de/en/campus-map, but follow Saarstraße until Albert-Schweitzer-Straße. Turn right and drive up the ramp, turn right onto Albert-Schweitzer-Straße. (You pass the campus entrance.) Turn right onto Dahlheimer Weg at the second traffic light. At the end of Dahlheimer Weg, there is a free of charge university car park.

From Frankfurt airport, take the regional train (e. g. S-Bahn) from Frankfurt Flughafen Regionalbahnhof to Mainz Hauptbahnhof and follow then the directions for arriving by foot/bicycle or public transportation.n.
► CO2 compensation
By decision of their Executive Board, the DPG e. V. will compensate for fossil CO2 emissions resulting from mobility for DPG Spring Meetings and committee meetings until further notice, but at least until the end of 2026.
Spend the night in Mainz
Accommodation is not included in the conference fee and room bookings are to be made by the conference participants themselves.
In and around Mainz accommodations of all categories are available for overnight stays, which can be booked both directly through the providers and through the local tourist office as well as through common portals for hotels and holiday flats.
